Born in Kazakhstan, Alim won the Nutcracker International Television Competition when he was only ten and later moved to the UK to continue his studies.  He won First Prize at The Leeds International Piano Competition last September. This was a springboard for his career to take off. He records for Warner Classics and is our ‘Rising Star’ for this season – Welcome Alim!
