Friday 8th April, 2022 – 7.30pm
Victoria Hall, Hanley
Two chords slam out and Ludwig van Beethoven changes music forever. His Eroica Symphony is the music of revolution: two centuries on, classical music is still feeling the aftershock! Schumann’s Cello Concerto is one of his more enigmatic pieces and is one of the greatest romantic cello works ever written. We open in the Italian sunshine with Berlioz’s Roman Carnival.
